General Information

Myrcia tomentosa is a deciduous tree with an elongate or irregular crown, growing 6 - 12 metres tall. The crooked, but more or less cylindrical, bole can be 20 - 35cm in diameter[].
The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for its wood, which is used locally.
