General Information

Dictyocaryum lamarckianum is a single-stemmed, evergreen palm that can grow up to 25 metres tall. The unbranched stem can be up to 40cm in diameter; it is often swollen towards the middle; it is supported by a dense cone of stilt roots; and is topped by a crown of 3 - 6 leaves that can each be up to 5 metres long[
