Common Name:

General Information

Ischaemum muticum is a spreading, stoloniferous, perennial grass with prostrate or rambling culms 15 - 40cm long. The much-branched culms root at the lower nodes, the plant forming a mat of growth. The stolons are long, often 5 metres or more in length[].
The plant is utilized as a soil stabilizer and source of mulch material.
