Wettinia microcarpa is a single-stemmed, evergreen, palm growing from 7 - 12 metres tall. The unbranched stem can be up to 12cm in diameter; the base is cloaked with stilt roots up to 70cm long; and the top is crowned with 4 - 5 long leaves[
