General Information
Terminalia solomonensis is an evergreen tree with a small, cone-shaped crown of flatly spreading, whorled branches; it can grow 15 - 45 metres tall. The straight bole can be cylindrical or markedly fluted, free of branches for up to 25 metres, 100cm in diameter and usually with a few, usually simple and plank-like buttresses up to 4 metres high[
