General Information
Terminalia calamansanai is a deciduous tree with an open, flat-topped crown, reaching a height of up to 30 - 40 metres. The bole is straight and cylindrical with a diameter of up to 80cm and tall, thin, spreading buttresses up to 9 metres in height[
].
The tree is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and medicine. The wood is also used.
