Common Name: 
General Information
Teijsmanniodendron simplicifolium is a tree growing around 5 - 32 metres tall. The bole can be free of branches for around 3 - 14 metres, around 12 - 60cm in diameter, with buttresses up to 200cm high and about 50 cm out[1830.
The tree is harvested from the wild for local use as a source of materials.
The plant is classified as 'Least Concern' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2009)[
