General Information
Syagrus campylospatha is an evergreen palm growing up to 3 metres tall. The plant forms a small cluster of unbranched stems which are usually subterranean but can occasionally be up to 1.5 metres tall above ground. These stems are topped by a crown of erect leaves that can be up to 1.5 metres long[
