General Information

Siphoneugena crassifolia is a semideciduous shrub or tree with a small, dense, rounded crown; it can grow up to 10 metres tall. The crooked bole can be 20 - 30cm in diameter[].
The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use as a food and source of wood. It can be used as a pioneer species when restoring native woodland.
