Roureopsis acutipetala
(Miq.) Leenh.
Connaraceae
There is currently no clear agreement amongst botanists as to whether the genus Roureopsis is valid, or whether the species contained within it should be transferred to the genus Rourea. We are, for the present, allowing Roureopsis to stand, but it is likely that a review of the family Connaraceae at present underway (2012) will transfer all the species currently in Roureopsis into Rourea. In this case, this species will become Rourea acutipetala Miq.[
