General Information

Oxandra krukoffii is an evergreen shrub or a tree growing from 3 - 15 metres tall. The trunk can be 5 - 25cm in diameter[].
The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a source of materials
Oxandra krukoffii is found in multiple collections and in numerous localities. There are no global major threats to the species but there may be some local decline from deforestation activities. The plant is classified as 'Least Concern' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2021)[].
