General Information

Ophiorrhiza peploides is an evergreen, herbaceous perennial plant with stems that can become more or less woody, at least near the base, and at times becoming a shrub growing 10 - 60cm tall, occasionally to 100cm[].
The plant is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use as a food and hair wash.
