Mouriri pusa is a semi-deciduous tree with a small, sparse crown; it can grow 4 - 8 metres tall. The short, crooked bole can be 20 - 30cm in diameter, and is covered in a thick, corky bark[

Propagation
Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a partially shaded position in a nursery seedbed. A germination rate of around 50% can be expected, with the seed sprouting within 70 - 90 days[
