Miconia longiracemosa is a tree with a spreading crown; it usually grows 3.5 - 9 metres tall, occasionally to 12 metres. The cylindrical, moderately straight bole often branches from low down, though in some specimens it can be unbranched for up to 3.5 metres; it is around 30cm in diameter[
