Propagation
Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a partially shaded position in a nursery seedbed - surface sow the small seed and then gently firm it into the soil, being careful not to wash it away when watering. A low germination rate can be expected, with the seed sprouting within 40 - 50 days[
