Miconia cabucu is an evergreen tree with a dense, more or less pyramidal crown; it can grow up to 8 metres tall. The short, cylindrical bole can be 20 - 30cm in diameter[

Propagation
Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a partially shaded position in a nursery seedbed - surface sow the small seed and press gently into the soil, being careful not to wash it away when watering. A high germination rate can be expected, with the seed sprouting within 10 - 20 days[
