Ludwigia repens
J.R.Forst.
Onagraceae
The report of edibility for this species is somewhat questionable - it says that the plant is eaten in Cochin-China whereas the plant is native to the Americas (although sometimes reportedly found as a weed in Asia). It is far more likely that the report should refer to Ludwigia adscendens, which has in the past been erroneously referred to as Ludwigia repens
The name Ludwigia repens J.R.Forst. is not universally accepted, with some authorities seeing it as a synonym of Ludwigia palustris (L.) Elliott[
