Star of Bethlehem is a herbaceous perennial plant with a rosette of narrow leaves 10 - 15cm long growing from a perennial rootstock.
Harvested from the wild for local medicinal use, the plant is also occasionally cultivated both for medicinal purposes and also as an ornamental317].
