Hieronyma clusioides is an evergreen tree with a very uniform, dense crown that is pyramidal on young trees, growing up to 30 metres or more tall. The straight, cylindrical bole has spreading, rounded buttresses; it can be unbranched for up to 20 metres and up to 100cm in diameter[
