Gladiolus bojeri is a perennial plant producing grass-like stems 15 - 45cm, occasionally 60cm, tall from an underground corm.
The plant is sometimes gathered from the wild for local medicinal use
Gladiolus bojeri experiences continuing decline because of habitat destruction caused by wildfire. The plant is classified as 'Near Threatened' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2017)[
