Fruit - raw. The pulp is white with a sweet flavour[]. The broadly ellipsoid to subglobose fruit is green when young, ripening to red; around 40 - 55mm long and 25 - 30mm in diameter, composed of 100 - 120 fertile carpels each around 12 - 20mm long and 7 - 10mm in diameter[].
