General Information
Cynometra inaequifolia is a tree growing up to 20 metres tall.
The tree is harvested from the wild for its timber, which is mainly used locally.
The tree is under threat from habitat loss through clear cutting and agriculture. It is classified as 'Vulnerable' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2011)[

The surface is not lustrous; texture is moderately fine and even, the grain spiral or shallowly interlocked. The wood is heavy and moderately durable. It is difficult to resaw and cross-cut; planing is easy to slightly difficult and planed surfaces are moderately smooth; poor nailing property[
