Common Name: Butterspoon tree

General Information

Butterspoon tree is a fast-growing, evergreen tree that can reach up to 18 metres in height when growing in the forest, but where it is growing out in the open it may only reach 5 metres[, ].
The plant is sometimes utilized for its timber, and is gathered from the wild for local medicinal use[]. It is also cultivated as an ornamental, particularly for its showy, scented flowers[].
