General Information

Coccinia trilobata is a herbaceous, perennial, climbing plant producing stems up to 4 metres long from a tuberous rootstock. The stems scramble over the ground and climb into the surrounding vegetation, securing themselves by means of tendrils[].
The plant is occasionally harvested from the wild for local use as a food. It is also sometimes grown as an ornamental[].
