Canarium vrieseanum is a tree that usually grows 15 - 25 metres tall, occasionally up to 31 metres. The bole, which sometimes has small buttresses, can be 30 - 45cm in diameter[, ].
The tree is harvested from the wild and used locally as a food and source of resin and timber.
