General Information
Attalea allenii is a single-stemmed, evergreen palm growing up to 6 metres tall. The unbranched stem is usually subterranean, though it can produce a short stem above ground; it is topped by a crown of large leaves that, together with the leaf stems, can be 6 metres or more long[
