General Information
Asterogyne martiana is a single-stemmed, evergreen palm growing up to 2.5 metres tall. The unbranched stem is around 3 - 5cm in diameter; it is usually erect, but sometimes creeping, when it will root as it grows; it is topped by a crown of 8 - 15 leaves which can each be up to 1 metre long[
