Common Name:

General Information

Tetrorchidium rubrivenium is an evergreen tree with a sparse, open, irregularly-shaped crown; it can grow 6 - 25 metres tall. The straight bole can be 60 - 80cm in diameter[].
The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for its low value wood. It can be grown as a pioneer when restoring native woodland.

Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a partially shaded position in a nursery seedbed. A low germination rate can usually be expected, with the seed sprouting within 40 - 50 days[].
