Sporobolus elongatus is a perennial, clump-forming grass with erect culms 50 - 100cm tall.
The grass is sometimes gathered from the wild and used for making hats.

Propagation

Seed - sow in situ and only just cover the seed. Germination should take place within 2 weeks.
