General Information
Schlechterina mitostemmatoides is a sparsely-branched shrub, often adopting a climbing habit; it produces more or less woody stems up to 3 metres long from a perennial rootstock. The stems develop a corky bark with age; they can sprawl into the surrounding vegetation, supporting themselves by means of tendrils that can be up to 15cm long[
