General Information

Cordoncillo is a perennial plant, usually herbaceous but sometimes more woody. It grows around 1.5 metres tall.
The plant is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use as food and medicine.

Known Hazards

The leaves are mixed with the leaves of Clibadium to make a fish poison[
