General Information
Phytelephas schottii is a single-stemmed, evergreen palm growing up to 5 metres tall. The unbranched sten is usually subterranean, though with time it comes above ground and has a more creeping habit; it is topped by 10 - 15 leaves that can each be up to 7 metres long[
