Orbea huillensis is a succulent, perennial, leafless plant that looks somewhat like a cactus. The stems are prostrate, rooting at intervals, and usually branched from the base. The plant often forms small colonies and can grow from 4 - 50cm tall[, , ].
The plant is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use as a food.
