Iodes seguinii is an evergreen, climbing plant with woody stems that attach themselves to the nearby vegetation by means of tendrils[].

Edible Uses

Fruit - raw[]. Sweet and pungent when fully ripe[]. The red, obovoid-oblong drupe is 18 - 23mm long and around 12mm in diameter[].

Medicinal

This plant is used in Guangxi for curing nephritis[]. (Reported under Iodes balansae).
