General Information

Hieronyma alchorneoides is an evergreen tree with a dense, oblong crown, that can grow up to 50 metres tall, though it is smaller when growing further from the Equator. The straight, cylindrical bole has spreading, rounded buttresses; it can be unbranched for up to 20 metres and 100cm or more in diameter[
