General Information

Monarch rosemallow is a small shrub growing about 1 metres tall with small prickles on the undersides of the leaves and along the stems.
The plant is gathered from the wild for use as a food, medicine and fibre. The plant is also cultivated, especially in Brazil and southeast Asia, for its various uses.
