General Information

Erythroxylum deciduum is a deciduous tree with a dense, longish crown; it can grow 4 - 8 metres tall. The short, cylindrical bole can be 20 - 35cm in diameter with a thick bark[].
The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use of its wood, It can be used for planting in narrow streets and under power lines[].
