Entandrophragma delevoyi is a semi-evergreen tree with a rounded crown; it can grown from 27 - 35 metres tall. The straight, cylindrical bole can be unbranched for up to 20 metres and 150cm in diameter; it is very slightly buttressed at the base. The smooth, grey-brown bark exfoliates in large, irregular pieces[
