General Information
Dwarf white bauhinia is a shrub growing up to 3 metres tall.
The plant is harvested from the wild for local medicinal use. It is often cultivated as an ornamental and hedge plant in the tropics[
].
An extremely widespread species, with only the general threats of associated habitat loss and degradation as a result of expanding human populations. The plant is classified as 'Least Concern' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(2011)[
