General Information

Alchornea discolor is an evergreen shrub or tree with an open crown; it can grow from 3 - 20 metres tall. The slightly crooked bole can be 20 - 30cm in diameter[].
The tree is sometimes harvested from the wild for its wood. It can be used as a pioneer species when restoring native woodland.
